Bo-Lei Yu (余伯磊)

Master student

Bo-Lei earned his bachelor's degree in Plant Medicine at National Chia Yi University and is now pursuing a master's degree in Entomology at National Taiwan University. His research focuses on exploring the intraspecies variation in Dolichoderus thoracicus, with a particular emphasis on understanding the genetic, reproductive, and behavioral factors contributing to its pest status. Outside the lab, Bo-Lei is a fan of manga and the NBA, and he enjoys exploring new places.

Undergraduate researcher

Yun-Yu is an undergraduate student in the Department of Entomology at National Taiwan University. Among a multitude of insects, ants have particularly captured his interest. Recently, he has been devoted to researching and exploring the secrets of the genes that regulate the development of trophic eggs in Dolichoderus thoracicus.

Undergraduate researcher

Kuan-Lin is an undergraduate student in the Department of Entomology at National Taiwan University. He has a profound interest in ants and simultaneously keeps various types of ants as pets. Additionally, he is currently researching a type of ant guests called 'ant cricket’, aiming to understand how the ant crickets sneak into ant nests and the behavior between ant crickets and ants.

Undergraduate researcher

Chen-Yu is an undergraduate student in the Department of Entomology at National Taiwan University, with a strong passion for insect interaction. He is actively involved in research exploring fascinating aspects of ant biology. Currently, Chen-Yu's work focuses on the mutualism between the ant of Acropyga and scale insects, aiming to uncover the genetic mechanisms behind the interaction behavior. Through his dedication, Chen-Yu contributes to advancing our understanding of the basic biology of Acropyga.
